Meet Angie Vancise
Born in the town of Collingwood, Ontario and brought up on a farm, Angie was intimately connected with the earth from her childhood. Her first spiritual experiences were the feeling of her feet in the soil and the magic of nature.
This strong bonding with nature stirred the artist in her. It is through her own crises and losses that she turned to ancient, alternative healing methodologies, finding even greater peace and connection within herself. Music and sound, always her guiding force, became her path to regenerative health and service.
Her first experience with the sound bath felt like spirit was calling upon her, an innate drive to spread the change that sound frequencies had brought into her life and to help others.
Now a certified sound healer, Angie uses the healing vibrations of instruments such as rain sticks, chimes, drums, Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, Native American flutes, Koshi chimes, and others to nurture her clients.
Her intuitive approach creates a different sound experience every time as she channels energy that is always shifting and deeply resonant.
The sound bath is an ultimate, transcendental journey that simply requires one to feel its effects. Harmonization with bio-energetic frequencies accelerates the healing process by permitting cellular rejuvenation and repair.
Angie’s work shows her testimony to the role of sound and energy in facilitating healing, as she provides a place that gives solace to those affected by grief, loneliness, physical discomfort, or simply a deeper state of meditation where the spirit, mind and body may find stillness.
